Gilbert Hijnosa had followed Phil's fishing reports for quite a while. He carefully selected the boats that he wanted and booked well in advance. His choice for a fishing charter was the YOLARAY. Gilbert and best buddy Willie had great expectations, they wanted to do some serious fishing and anything less was just not in the picture. Phil was sweating. It often happens that the casual charters have fish falling into the boat and the very serious ones cannot even find bait. Well, this was not the case with Gilbert and Willie. They had a Grand Slam, as we call it in fishing vocabulary. A Marlin that is being mounted, a Sailfish, 4 Yellowfin Tuna and a Wahoo were the catches of the day. For their second trip, the boys brought the wives along for a half day trip on the SOL and they caught 2 very good sized Sierra. Great eating and they had their hotel prepare a feast for them. Phil was greatly relieved, as you can see he is wearing the lucky shirt again. The shirt is looking worse for wear, let's hope it holds together for a few more years.
